Why our coffee is better.
The Farm
Amani Coffee is direct from Congo to Cup. Our farmers are located in North Kivu, high in the Kyondo Mountains along the National Virunga Park and Lake Edward in the territories of Beni and Lubero.
We Put Local Farmers First
Amani Coffee’s co-operative consists of 2,127 smallholder farmers. Forty percent of them (850) are women. Each of these 2,127 farmers earn living and equal wages, a first for coffee cooperatives in DR Congo.
The Mission
Uplifting the Kivu Community
Through our work in DR Congo, Amani strives to bring safer, healthier, and more stable living environments to our farmers and their families. We do this by supporting proper wages for our farmers and investing in much needed infrastructure such as water supply, schools, and roads.
